January 2011 Financial Literacy Display

Learn about our new Financial Literacy program, a series of lectures and events designed to educate our community on the practicalities of personal money management.  Thanks to a grant from Smart Investing @your library, a partnership with the American Library Association and the FINRA Education Foundation, we host monthly presentations on the basics of banking, budgeting, borrowing and more!  Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month in Druker Auditorium at the Newton Free Library.  Join us on January 19 for a talk on Borrowing Basics: An introduction to Credit.  For more information on Financial Literacy at the Library, please see our website at finlit.newtonfreelibrary.net or email us at NewtonFinLit@minlib.net.
